Hey, welcome! We're a small team building crypto games. Our games run fully on smart contracts and offer the ability to play as if you were trading financial markets, with clearly defined PnL and ROI through your in-game action. Today, we are introducing you to our newest product that has been in the works for nearly 2 years, enjoy! - stokarz (Founder & CEO)
Battle for Blockchain is a fully onchain strategy game that blends the tactical depth of Teamfight Tactics with the empire-building of Total War. Command your forces, purchase units and upgrade your kingdom with $BFB tokens during intense weekly wars.
Each war, all $BFB tokens spent by the players are combined in 2 massive token pools. If your kingdom wins the war, you get all your $BFB tokens spent back and more. You can track your PnL and ROI in real-time for both scenarios: winning and losing the war.
At its core, Battle for Blockchain combines strategy thinking through gameplay with peer-to-peer financial markets:
Players make tactical decisions that directly influence their in-game, peer-to-peer market positions.
Every in-game action has a financial cost and a potential reward.
Our smart contracts set up the immutable rules of the gameplay, which anybody can verify at any time. This guarantees a fair payout if you win.
To learn more about the rules of the game, our in-game financial model, or the $BFB token flywheel, check out the rest of the docs.
BFB is a web-browser based game. Make sure your browser is up to date. We recommend using Google Chrome or Chromium-based browsers.
Crypto wallet that supports EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) chains like Metamask, Rabby or Phantom.
$INIT gas tokens bridged from the Inita L1 to Culinaris chain (our interwoven rollup).
$BFB tokens bought on Initia L1 DEX and bridged to Culinaris chain.
Our team grew up playing video games 12h/day. Everything from classic MMORPGs like World of Warcraft and OSRS, through Start Craft II and Total War, to Leauge of Legends and TFT. We were fascinated with the eSport and streaming scene, which were both gated to the top 0.1%. They were making money, and unless we also joined this 0.1%, it was impossible that the time spent on gaming entertainment had any meaningful financial rewards.
Today, thanks to crypto networks and programmable money, we can change that. We can truly democratize this access once and for all.
Why fully onchain? To ensure the rules of the system that pays you money are enforcable, immutable (cannot be changed once you begin playing) and transparent.
As the in-game money, we use a $BFB token. Why call it "money"? Well, it's a money-equivalent, thanks to being directly exchangeable to $INIT (Initia's gas token), which then can be further exchanged to USD, at the market directed exchange rate.
